What we can help source

Industrial and hazardous-location hardware categories

Real product photos supplied by Defender Solution are shown below. Exact manufacturer, model, thread size, material, approval and certification must be confirmed for each project quotation.

Explosion-Protected Conduit Body

Heavy-duty threaded conduit hardware for hazardous-location raceway and equipment-entry applications. Exact entry sizes, material, approval and enclosure type are confirmed from the project specification.

Threaded Metal Cable Connector

Compact metallic connector for cable entry or conduit termination. Thread standard, cable range, sealing method and hazardous-location approval must match the enclosure and project requirements.

Hazardous-Location Cable Gland

Metal cable gland for industrial and hazardous-location cable-entry applications. Available selection may include metric or NPT threads, different cable ranges and project-required certification.

Important equipment-selection notice: Hazardous-location equipment must be selected according to the applicable area classification, gas or dust group, temperature class, environmental conditions, electrical requirements and governing codes. Defender Solution sources equipment based on customer-provided specifications and manufacturer documentation. Final equipment selection and approval remain the responsibility of the customer, project engineer, qualified hazardous-location professional and authority having jurisdiction. Defender Solution does not independently certify products as ATEX, IECEx or explosion-proof.

Questions

Before requesting a quote

Is an M20 or M32 fitting automatically explosion-proof?

No. M20 and M32 identify metric entry sizes. The exact product must carry the required certification and marking for the project application.

What information should I send?

Send the part number, manufacturer, quantity, thread size, cable diameter, material, required certification, area classification, gas or dust group, temperature class, IP/NEMA rating and required delivery date.

Can Defender Solution help with a difficult-to-source or obsolete item?

Yes. Send a clear photo, nameplate, datasheet or drawing. Any proposed option or equivalent must still be reviewed and approved for the project.

Do you sell one part or only complete project packages?

Requests may include individual replacement components, multiple quantities or coordinated project hardware lists. Availability and minimum order quantities vary by supplier.

Have a part number or material schedule?

Send it to Defender Solution for a project-based sourcing review.
