Help at every stage of your RTI project

One media room or many zones, the goal is the same: controls that fit your equipment and make sense to the people who use them.

Equipment upgrades & integration

A new TV, receiver, streamer or matrix often needs new commands and screen changes. We check the exact device and driver before we quote the work.

IP control · RS-232 · IR · multi-room audio

Custom RTI driver development

Some devices need more than standard commands. We scope custom drivers around the device's documented protocol, hardware access and testing.

Existing system takeovers

If your original installer is gone, start with a system review. We find what can stay, which project files exist and whether any part needs a rebuild.

Before you book

RTI programming & support questions

Can you program an RTI system remotely anywhere in the USA?

Yes. We offer remote RTI programming and support nationwide. It depends on your hardware, an editable project file, approved network access and the work needed. Wiring, hardware swaps and some testing need someone onsite.

Can you help if my original RTI installer is gone?

Yes. Send the processor model, equipment list, symptoms and any project files. We review the system and explain your options: keep it, reprogram it or rebuild it.

What if I do not have the original RTI project file?

Tell us before booking. An editable project usually cannot be pulled back out of a processor or remote. We check for backups and the original file first. If it is gone, a rebuild may be needed and is quoted separately.

Can you fix an RTI remote or RTiPanel app that is not working?

Usually, yes. We fix programming and connection problems on remotes and phone apps. Send the exact model, the error message and any recent equipment or network changes. Hardware faults may need a replacement.

Which RTI processors and interfaces can you work with?

Send your exact model and software version and we will confirm. Common projects use XP-series processors, KX-series panels, handheld remotes and RTiPanel. Options vary by product generation.

Can you add Apple TV, Sonos, WiiM, lighting, shades or climate control?

Often, yes. It depends on the exact device, firmware, control method and driver. We confirm what is possible, the licenses and any limits before we add a device to your quote.

Do you design residential and commercial RTI systems?

Yes. We program and design home theaters, multi-room audio, smart homes and business AV spaces. The work can include screen design, source routing, activities and a testing plan.

Do you offer onsite RTI service in Southern California?

Yes. We take onsite projects in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Share the job address to confirm coverage, timing and travel. Other locations can get remote support.

How much does RTI programming cost?

It depends on the equipment, rooms, screens, whether you have the project file and the integration or repair work needed. Send your details for a written scope and estimate. Driver licenses, hardware and travel are listed separately. See our pricing guide for typical ranges.

What should I send before a remote support session?

Send your city and state, processor and remote models, equipment list, photos, symptoms and whether you have the project file. We then agree on a safe access method and test plan. For security, never email passwords.

Can you update an RTI system after replacing my TV or receiver?

Yes, after a quick compatibility check. We update device commands, inputs, activities and screen labels, then test them with you or your onsite technician.

Are you RTI manufacturer support?

No. Defender Solution is an independent programming and integration company. RTI is a trademark of its owner. Send warranty claims and account questions to RTI or the dealer who sold the system.
