Commercial Audio & AV Integration in Orange County

Defender Solution designs, installs and programs commercial audio and AV systems in Orange County: multi-zone background music and paging, conference and training rooms, outdoor speakers, and one-touch control with RTI.

The goal is a system staff can run without a manual: each zone has its own source and volume, rooms turn on from one button, and everything is wired, labeled and racked so it can be serviced. As a certified RTI programmer, we also take over and fix AV systems that another integrator installed.

Licensed & local: California C-10 Electrical Contractor license #1108033 (verify at cslb.ca.gov). Based at 16600 Harbor Blvd, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Call (714) 860-9866 or email support@defendersolution.tech.

What our commercial AV work includes

Scope is set after a site walk. A typical project covers some or all of the following:

  • Multi-zone background music for restaurants, retail, offices and lobbies, with separate volume per zone.
  • Paging and announcements over the same speakers, with priority over music.
  • Conference and training rooms: displays, video conferencing cameras and microphones, wireless presentation.
  • Outdoor audio for patios, pools and courtyards, using weather-rated speakers.
  • Control: RTI touch panels, keypads and app control so rooms and zones start with one button.
  • Equipment racks: amplifiers, sources and network gear racked, ventilated and labeled.
  • Service and takeovers of existing AV systems, including reprogramming and failed-equipment replacement.

Who we install AV for

How a project runs

  1. Site walk: we listen to how the space is used, measure rooms and zones, and check existing wiring.
  2. Written proposal: zones, equipment list, control plan and price.
  3. Installation: speakers, displays and cabling installed; rack built and labeled.
  4. Programming and tuning: sources, zones, levels and one-button scenes set up.
  5. Handoff: staff walkthrough, a one-page user guide and remote support access.

Commercial audio and AV FAQ

What does commercial AV installation include?

It covers the speakers, displays, amplifiers, sources, cabling, equipment rack and the control system that ties them together, plus programming and staff training. We scope each system to how the space is used, so a restaurant, a boardroom and a patio each get a different design.

Can different areas play different music at different volumes?

Yes. We split the space into zones, and each zone gets its own source and volume, controlled from a wall keypad, a touch panel or an app. Paging can override any zone when needed.

Do you install outdoor speakers for patios and pools?

Yes. We use weather-rated speakers and outdoor-rated cable, place them for even coverage at lower volume, and put the outdoor area on its own zone so it can be turned down without affecting inside.

Can you fix an AV system that another company installed?

Usually, yes. We audit the existing equipment, wiring and control programming, back up whatever programming exists, then repair or reprogram it. For RTI systems we can rebuild the project file if the original is missing.

Is Defender Solution licensed for AV and low-voltage wiring?

Yes. Defender Solution holds California C-10 Electrical Contractor license #1108033, issued by the CSLB, which covers low-voltage audio, video and control wiring. You can verify the license on cslb.ca.gov.
